Requires
- 170 g butter
- 65 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 350 g light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 94 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 112 g chocolate chips or chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175 °C. Grease 8x8" pan.
- Add butter to a saucepan and heat on low, stirring every 10-15 seconds, till it browns and milk solids separate out. Then remove from heat.
- Add cocoa powder, vanilla
- Beat eggs and sugar till light and pale
- Add butter to the eggs (make sure it is cooled), fold in
- Sift in flour, salt. Fold in
- Add choc chips
- Cook for 25-35 min till set on the edges, battery in the centre
