Requires
  • 170 g butter
  • 65 g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 350 g light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 94 g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 112 g chocolate chips or chocolate
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 175 °C. Grease 8x8" pan.
  2. Add butter to a saucepan and heat on low, stirring every 10-15 seconds, till it browns and milk solids separate out. Then remove from heat.

  3. Add cocoa powder, vanilla


  4. Beat eggs and sugar till light and pale


  5. Add butter to the eggs (make sure it is cooled), fold in
  6. Sift in flour, salt. Fold in


  7. Add choc chips

  8. Cook for 25-35 min till set on the edges, battery in the centre
