Instructions Soak cashews in hot water for 15 min, then puree with chopped tomato. 4 tbsp (~30) cashews for the gravy Fry the other cashews till light brown. Set aside 2/3 heaping cup split cashews Fry cinnamon, cumin 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp cumin Fry onion 2 onions Add garlic, ginger, spices; fry 45 sec 2 tsp ginger 2 tsp garlic 1 tsp or whatever amount chilli powder 2 tsp garam masala 1 tsp fenugreek 1.5 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp turmeric Add tomatoes/cashews, sugar, salt, cook till oil rises to the top. tomato/cashew paste 1 tsp sugar salt Add water, peas, spinach?? 1.5 cup water 1 cup peas spinach? Simmer 5-10 min, add cashews halfway through soaked cashews
Notes says it's for 4 people, but i made the full amount and ate nearly the full amount myself. thus the amounts have been doubled.
