Requires
- 4 cups uncooked macaroni
- 113 g butter
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar
- At least 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups full fat milk
- Various cheeses
Instructions
- Cook macaroni as usual. Once the water starts boiling, add sugar and garlic. Don't overcook.
- Drain the pasta, add butter, salt, pepper, milk, cheeses, and boil.
- Add breadcrumbs and boil until it reaches a good consistency.
- Move to an oven dish, cover with foil, and cook for about 40 min at 180 °C.
- Add more cheese to the top and cook without foil for another 15 min.
